Walk for Kicks Program

Log your walking trips to earn a $50 sneaker gift card!

"Walk for Kicks” is our pedestrian incentive program created to encourage Assembly residents, employees, and visitors to walk instead of drive while completing daily activities, running errands, and commuting to work. All residents and employees of the Assembly Square District are eligible to participate in this program. Start logging your walking trips on GoMassCommute to earn your achievement badges and gift card!

 

How to Participate:

  1. Log into GoMassCommute and record your trips.

  2. Record your walking trips by:

    • Clicking the “Record” tab at the bottm.

    • Click “Record a Trip”, Select New Trip or Saved Trip.

    • ChooseWalking as your mode of transportation.

    • Enter your trip origin, destination, and any additional required trip details.

    3. Continue logging your walking trips. Once you have recorded 100 walking trips, you'll be eligible to receive a $50 gift card to a sneaker retailer of your choice at Assembly.

    4. Track your progress: From your home page, navigate to Your Activity and filter your trips by Walking to see how many walking trips you've logged.

Program Guidelines:

  • Participant must log 100 total walking trips on GoMassCommute to earn the $50 sneaker reward

  • Eligible walking trips must start or end at Assembly and can include anything from walking to the grocery store, going for a nature walk, taking your dog out, and more! 

  • Particpants are only elible to redeem this program once

  • You are eligible to log up to two walking trips daily.

    Reward may change without notice. ONLY VALID FOR TRIPS TAKEN TO AND FROM THE ASSEMBLY SQUARE DISTRICT. Any abuse or false trips will result in immediate removal.
